Our Story

Blythe Elementary School is located in the southern part of Richmond County and in the midst of the City of Blythe. The City Hall, Fire Department, and Police Department are located next door to the school and many of our families use our playground as a meeting place after hours. Many of our families have been in the Blythe area for several generations and are always willing to share their stories of days past at Blythe School. The city of Blythe is 2.5 square miles and has a population of 708. Our school serves approximately 325 students in grades Pre-K through Fifth. We have about 60 staff members that have a deep love for children.

2024 GOSA Single Score: 70.8

Content Mastery : 55.1

Progress: 73.1

Closing Gaps: 85.7

Readiness: 78.9

College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) is Georgia’s statewide accountability system. The CCRPI assesses how well students are prepared for college and careers, and ensures that schools are focused on improving achievement among all students. The index measures student achievement on indicators such as content mastery, student growth on progress, subgroup performance on closing gaps, and various areas including Lexile performance, attendance, and other academic based measurements. Schools earn CCRPI points based on indicators that vary by grade and school level and align with measures of college- and career-readiness.  Each individual component score is on a scale of 0-100. Additional data for CCRPI can be found at this address: https://ccrpi.gadoe.org/
